Modern Home Renovation Oak Park, IL

Our client asked for a modern renovation that honored and fit within their old home. As a response, we began by identifying the timeless design elements of their historic vintage home. Studying and listening to the house unearthed the key design elements we used to inspire the design: stained oak cabinetry, attention to finely crafted details in cabinetry and counters, living finish metals, veined stone, thoughtful curation of lighting fixtures – all working together to create an atmosphere of enduring permanence. These elements became the drivers for this modern renovation creating a home where modern and vintage designs live in harmony with one another. A home where the modern and vintage themes come together as a family; where both are distinct yet bear resemblance to one another.
